Freddy’s Frozen Custard, Steakburgers, or simply Freddy’s are fast-casual chains that offer delicious, made-to-order, all American meals. The name of their item is made only from lean, high-quality beef. It is prepared exactly as ordered. Their second name is made with the best dairy products, and made fresh every day. The chain quickly became a family favourite with its delicious meals and friendly service.

History

The chain was founded in 2002 by Bill and Randy Simon and Scott Redler, their friend and cofounder. Freddy Simon, Bill’s father, was the inspiration for the chain. Freddy Simon was a great inspiration to the couple with his all-American cooking and large family meals at the table. This was the idea behind the restaurant. Their motto is “The Taste That Brings You Back”, and this is exactly what their homely food menu offers. Hutchinson was the first location. The brand’s American-inspired menu was a big hit and gained widespread popularity quickly. After seeing their initial success, the trio began franchising in 2004. The company grew rapidly. They opened their 50th location at Victoriaville, California in 2011. Their 100 th location opened in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2013. In 2015, they opened their 150 th store in Loveland. There are now over 150 locations in 17 states, and the number is growing. They will continue to dominate the fast-casual industry with their dedication to fresh, home-cooked, delicious meals.

Freddy’s was created to make you feel at ease and every location is decorated with this goal in mind. You will feel like you have been transported back in time to the 1940’s and 50’s. The retro-modern decor of the red and white walls is modern, but still retains a vintage feel. You will find a variety of tables and chairs as well as booths to accommodate family meals. The menu offers sandwiches, hot dogs and Steakburgers as well as frozen custard and sides. They also offer drinks, sundaes, children’s meals, and kids’ meals. There are many delicious options for Steakburgers, including Freddy’s Original and Single California Style, Double California Style, Bacon and Cheese Double, and others. Triple Steakburger California Style is a must-try for meat lovers. The patties are perfectly seasoned and taste amazing.
There are many side dishes available, including chicken tenders and chili cheese fries. There’s also their famous ‘Concrete’ drink, which is a mix of milkshake and frozen custard. It comes in flavors such as Chocolate Brownie or Hawaiian Delights. Their hot dogs are made entirely from beef and come with a variety of delicious toppings and relishes. They are friendly, efficient, and professional. Their aim is to ensure that every customer leaves satisfied. This brand’s prices are also very affordable. A combo meal that includes a main dish, fries, and a beverage will run you around $7.
