The Snyders spent their first few years working hard and learning from mistakes. After much hard work, they opened their second location just three years later than the first. Although growth was slow in those initial years, the emphasis was on creating a fantastic menu and building a reputation within the fast food industry.

Franchising the business was not allowed by the duo. Quality was more important to them than quantity. The couple lost Harry in 1970. Their son Rich succeeded Harry and expanded the business to 83 locations over the next 20 years. Rich died in 1993. Guy, their other son, took over the business and raised it from 83 to 140 places. Today, the company remains family-owned and operated. Lynsi Snyder is the current president of the company which Rich founded.
