Whataburger is an American fast-food chain. Paul Burton and Harmon Dobson founded the company on August 8, 1950. The main goal of the founder was to make burgers that were so delicious; people would say, “What a Burger!” In Corpus Christi, Texas opened the first Whataburger store.

They initially sold burgers at 25 cents. Their stores sold burgers for 25 cents. Paul Burton and Harmon Dobson ended their partnership in 1951 after Paul Burton tried to increase the price of Burgers to $30 cents. However, Burton increased the price to 35 cents a few months later.
