Raising Cane’s- Overview

raising cane's launch

Raising Cane’s is a restaurant that specializes in chicken fingers. Yes, you read that right, chicken fingers! Chicken fingers are what people refer to as chicken tenders. They’re delicious, and the menu at Raising Cane’s costs aren’t too bad. The restaurant doesn’t offer other food options aside from chicken fingers; however, they offer side dishes like fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. They also have a remarkable sauce called Cane’s Sauce that you can dip your chicken fingers in.

The History of Raising Cane’s

The company was established in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, because Raising Cane’s is focused on just one thing – chicken fingers. We’re able to perform it better than everyone else. We call it”ONE LOVE. Todd Graves, the founder of Raising Cane’s path to success, was a work, effort, and perseverance journey. As a fresh student at college, Graves was looking for funding to start his restaurant. Unafraid of bankers who thought his concept laughable and unimaginative, he took the matter into his own hands and raised funds the traditional method – through hard work. After working in refineries for oil in California and fishing for salmon in the waters off Alaska, Graves returned to Baton Rouge and opened his first restaurant in 1996, close to the entrance to LSU. The restaurant was named after his lab dog, Raising Cane.

Raising Cane’s Honest Review

One of the first things we saw about Raising Cane’s was its surprisingly minimal menu. Contrary to most chicken-based menus, Raising Cane’s menu has just four options, including an opportunity for kids. Raising Cane’s locations are between the sleek minimalism of many fast-casual chains such as Panera and Panera and the simple and often less impressive designs of fast-food establishments. The food was served quickly and took just five minutes to cook. Along with the speedy service, it appeared that the staff was watching for our best interests as it was reported that a waitress returned a dish that she deemed needed for a serving of fries.
