The company ensures that its employees give their customers the same kind of Southern hospitality that you’d like to experience. This blend of tasty food and excellent service has ensured they’ve always been at the highest of the fast-food industry.
The History of KFC
The well-known Harland Sanders was born in 1890, and he is the one who kick-started Kentucky Fried Chicken. His father died while Sanders was still just a kid, which forced the mother to go back to work, leaving her to take care of the two siblings they had. Sander took this moment to learn cooking from his mom. He quit school aged 13 and went on to various careers before establishing his first restaurant at Corbin, Kentucky, in 1930 at 40. This place was where Sanders could offer traditional Southern food and a heavy emphasis on his unique Kentucky Fried Chicken. The venture was highly profitable in 1936. Sanders was awarded the honorary title Kentucky Colonel by Governor Ruby Laffoon. In 1939, the KFC method of high-pressure cooking was introduced and significantly reduced the time to wait while maintaining the taste that the meat has. The unique recipe was developed in 1940.
1952 was the year for the inception of the initial franchise store in Utah. By 1963, there were more than 600 locations across the country. For the next several decades, the company underwent various ownership shifts. The first occurred in 1964 when Sanders sold the business 1964 to John Y Brown Jr. and Jack C Massey. The following year, Sanders participated in managing the business standard as a licensed trademark. The pair was sold in the ’70s to R J Reynolds Food, who later gave the company a price of Pepsi Co for a cool $850 million. It became one of the first Western restaurant chains with a fast food outlet to venture into China in 1987. The business has witnessed growth with 18,800 stores across 118 countries. Despite frequent changes to ownership, the restaurant has continued to be a trendy choice due to its efficient services, warm Southern hospitality, and ” ‘finger-lickin’ good” chicken.

KFC Honest Review
Despite the presence of fast food alternatives, there are a few reasons KFC stands out from the rest of the pack. The most notable is their famous Fried Chicken. The recipe is precise and took many years to perfect, and that’s the perfect phrase to describe it as perfect. The coating is delicious and crispy, and the chicken inside is soft and juicy. The chicken is available with a wide range of choices and includes their famous “bucket” meal. Other choices are available, and all of them are based around their chicken salads, wraps, burgers, desserts, sides, and soft drinks. In addition, they offer a wide variety of very affordable food items. A typical complement with the main meal, a side dish, and a medium-sized drink should cost you around $5. Family meals can cost from $15 to $29, based on how many people to feed. All of them come in generous portions.
Their restaurants share the same design and modern interpretation of the old-fashioned diner. They’re clean, warm, and inviting, and their staff is friendly and efficient. You can eat in every restaurant or head to one of the drive-thru outlets. This company has dominated the fried chicken industry for over 90 years. The “colonel” founded this chain intending to provide good quality and delicious Southern food and speedy and efficient service. This offer is what KFC continues to make available. These standards have placed KFC in the center of America’s hearts, stomachs, and souls.
