In other words, when in an app like Facebook (even though Facebook also has its inner browser if from the configurations you disable the option to open links to the outdoors, you tap to open an external link (for example, an article by Optimbe), the program can utilize that the System WebView webpage viewer in the same app that you’re using without opening it directly in Chrome or even Firefox.
In practice, it is a mini-browser based on Chrome, including all the features of a browser like a background, the functions to zoom in and outside, the hunt for text, and so on.
If there weren’t any Android System WebView, each connection that opens from an application like Facebook would start onto the default browser (for instance, Chrome). When you wish to return to Facebook, then you need to close the browser again.
To simplify this process, the System WebView enables rather than open the hyperlinks within the app itself, using a button to return to the program quickly.
Android System WebView is also a hidden program that does not require any configuration, which is automatically used by the programs that support it and operates in the background.
